My job at Comdisco started to expand beyond 10 major cities in the mid-90's. We started doing projects in places like Phoenix and Denver and Seattle instead of just NY/NJ. In early September, only 4 days after Hurricane Hortense hit Puerto Rico, I landed in San Juan for a project. The airport was dark, the hotel was without power for most of the day, and none of the stop lights worked. Still I managed to do my job and see the city. |
