We did not have any days at sea, so the majority of our time was spent on a Bahaman island somewhere. Still, there was good entertainment, food, and poolside activities that we enjoyed, along with an art show and a casino. The ship was just about the right size… not crazy big like some of the newer cruise ships, but big enough that you didn’t run into the same people all the time. The girls had their own cabin, so they did their thing while we did ours.

Saratoga Springs Resort, WDW

After the cruise, we rented another car and took a more direct path to Orlando than we did heading to Miami earlier in the week. We knew that the space shuttle, Atlantis, was taking off from Cape Canaveral, and we even saw some people on lawn chairs looking east. As we pulled into our resort, though, we saw the shuttle flying across the sky, and its smoke plume off on the distance. It is possible that this is the last time Atlantis will fly, unless we get a President who actually sees the pros to the Space Program.

The beautiful grounds of the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa

Part of Saratoga Springs are the Treehouse Villas, which each consists of 3 bedrooms. We will have to stay there some time. The whole resort is just across the lake from Downtown Disney, which we did visit on this trip.

Our Segway tour took us from Ft. Wilderness Resort to Wilderness Lodge and back, riding through the forest and along Bay Lake.

Like I always said, the couple who Segways together, stays together <3

Ft. Wilderness was crowded, because the half Iron Man was going on that weekend

Goodnight to another wonderful vacation
