We have been to Cozumel so many times that I wasn’t sure what to do there, but Dana recommended that we go see some Mayan ruins. That involved a boat ride to the mainland, a bus ride, a tram ride, and a walk, but it was worth it all. While we were doing that, Madeline and Alicia were touring Cozumel in a Jeep. |

The ferry across the channel was like a 747. The tram was like a tractor pulling a couple of boxes. |
The Tulum ruins near Playa del Carmen were truly amazing. They gave a true sense of how the Mayans created cities centuries ago. |

As is true about all real estate, it’s about location, location, location, and the beauty of the sea was astonishing |

Of course, Cozumel is rather pretty, too, and it was a beautiful day for a drive in a Jeep. |

They spent some time at Punta Sur and Columbia Lagoon. Every place had lots of sand and pretty sights. |
