The Norwegian Star was one of NCL's largest ships, and was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the ship encountered some mechanical problems a few months earlier, and so our original itinerary to Acapulco and Ixtapa was changed. Our cruise was the last one before it was repaired in dry dock.

On the Norwegian Star

We got a mini-suite on the 11th floor, just below the sun deck. The arrow doesn't show the exact room, but indicates the level where we were.

The atrium of the Star as seen from the 12th floor looking all the way down to the lobby on the 7th floor.

Of course, there are other things to keep one occupied on the ship, like gambling and site seeing.
