What ended up as our last port, we were looking forward to this day the most. We booked a swim with the dolphins, and although we were done with it well before noon, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Afterwards, we took a taxi ride around the island, which gave us some great views of the Virgin Islands and Tortola itself. |
Tortola, British Virgin Islands |
Our taxi and driver, Kittie, who took us around the island... |
Heading back down the island, we stopped by Cane Garden Bay, a beautiful beach area with some nice sights! |
We finally docked at one of our ports, Road Town, on the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. |
We hopped on a taxi and did a short drive around the bay to the location of the dolphin encounter. We quickly broke into groups, donned our life vests, and met Elektra, who was about 35 years old and just had a baby |
...where we got views of all the Virgin Islands, as well as this little schoolhouse on almost the highest point on Tortola |
The end of another beautiful day |
