Our third trip was taken over a very long weekend off of school. The weather was perfect and it just happened to coincide with Soap Opera weekend for ABC. Alicia was 17 and Dana was 16, and Alicia brought a friend, Katie Ohzourk from school.

Of course, the highlight of the trip was when JR from All My Children happened to be at the wine tasting event that I visited at Epcot. I recognized him first, then Madeline saw him and called out "JR!" He was pleasant and took this photo with Madeline, then even remembered them two days later at MGM.

The girls were interviewed to talk about who their favorite soap stars were. The event was part of the Daytime Emmy Awards, but the girls didn’t make the cut.

We had fun on the thrill rides like Rock’n’ Roller Coaster and Dinosaur. Katie had fun trying on hats.
