We went to Naples, which was only about a half hour away. We visited their zoo, which was quite small and didn’t offer the greatest environment for animals. It was still nice, though. Afterwards, we went into town and walked the pier and through the shops, stopping for a little dessert.

The unique feature of the zoo was a little pontoon boat ride that went out to these small islands where various primates lived.

The zoo was also a bit of a botanical garden, and they did have some beautiful trees and plants in the place.
