There were several events that all occurred over the course of two weeks, so the girls stayed in Atlanta the whole time. Grandma Mary celebrated her 90th birthday, and Uncle Al & Aunt Ruth came to town with some of their kids and grandkids. Felicia also celebrated her 30th birthday and a family friend got married. Along with these special events, the family went to Six Flags together and some went to a Braves game, the pool, Stone Mountain, Coke World, the Zoo, and just visited with friends. Nearly each day was packed with something to do. I had to work, travel, and take care of the cats

The first week’s activities began with a trip to the Dunwoody pool. Julie played bubbles with the girls and the girls had a chance to play with their 3rd cousin, Amanda. It was time to clean up and get dressed, though, and Grandma Mary enjoyed seeing her grandchildren have fun. The family then went inside the clubhouse and had a nice meal to celebrate Felicia’s 30th birthday. Uncle Al was there to enjoy the day as well. At the end of the day, Jessica and the girls chilled out and watched some TV back at Nanny & Papa’s

The next day, Papa & Uncle Al took a professional photo with their mother. Meanwhile, Madeline and the girls went down to Coca-Cola World with some of the family. Everyone returned and celebrated Grandma Mary’s 90th birthday with friends and family. Carlo got a little silly and Terri enjoyed our dressed-up girls. Of course, everyone loved the cake and had fun outside playing.

The family then went to Six Flags, donning matching t-shirts. It turned out to be a wet day, but that didn’t stop them from having fun and enjoying a picnic lunch.

A relaxing day just enjoying family.

Although they celebrated it over the weekend, June 10th was Grandma Mary’s actual 90th birthday. This time just the family took part in a special Mass, then had a nice meal and took photos with the matriarch.

The girls had some fun at Dave & Busters. They then went to the lake with Cathy.
