Last year when we went to Phoenix, we stayed at a Sheraton Resort. We ended up listening to the timeshare speech in exchange for some good pricing on activities. We had no intention of buying anything, but there was a very inexpensive deal for one week every two years. We bought it, and so we came back this year to stay at our newest home, the Westin Kierland Villas.

We always like to stay up on the 3rd or 4th floors of a building, so that we can walk the stairs all the time. This time it was easy to remember our villa number, as it was our old street address.

Inside, the villa consisted of a nice full kitchen, dining area, living room, and our master suite. The place was beautiful, and we had a wonderful view of the golf course from our window and the balcony we liked to eat on.

The grounds of the resort are beautiful. The lobby is open air looking out into a courtyard where we liked to take pictures of us, the pool area, flowers, and even some funny lizards crawling on a wall.

Of course, the Westin Kierland Resort, located next door to the Villas, is a golf and spa resort, and we were lucky enough to have a room that faced the 18th green. We decided to play a little ourselves, by doing an hour long chipping and pitching session. We learned a couple of things that will come in handy… if we ever decide to play golf again in our lives.

We enjoyed a nice body salt scrub at the spa, and we also just enjoyed walking the grounds of the neighboring Westin resort.
