We finished Saturday at Red Rocks Park outside Denver, where we discovered just how much the girls, especially Alicia, liked to climb rocks.

On Saturday, we drove to Rocky Mountain National Park and hiked to the top of Alberta Falls.

Finally on Friday, we hiked up Lookout Mountain in Golden, enjoying a nice view of the Coors factory below.

We also did a tour of Coors Brewery in Golden, where we watched them package cans and got to sample some beer.

On Friday at the Butterfly Pavilion and Insect Center, we walked in an enclosure surrounded by hundreds of butterflies in natural habitats. I shot this beautiful Zebra Longwing butterfly. The zoo also had a petting area where we held cockroaches and tarantulas.

Our first leg spoked out of Denver, where we visited the Butterfly Zoo, Coors Brewery, the US Mint, Red Rocks State Park, and where I showed my family my project. We then went up to Rocky Mountain National Park, through Estes Park where I went in high school for a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Camp. That camp is when I fell in love with mountains and where my life changed for the better.
