There was more entertainment on the street outside Planet Hollywood and at our final show, Crazy Girls. That was a true burlesque show.

Paris is also amazing at night

The next hotel over was Paris, and we had a dinner at Mon Ami Gabi out on their porch. It was fun watching the fountains of Bellagio across the street, watch a kid on a yo-yo, listen to a street musician, and eat a wonderful French meal.

Miracle Mile was also home to our second show, Zombie Burlesque. We had front row seats and photos were permitted, so Madeline took advantage of it. The show included actual live singing, dance, a little bit of PG-13 raunchiness, and a whole lot of comedy. We were pleasantly surprised at the choreography, costumes, and comedy.

And Lombardi’s. Madeline also played some slots there.

Bubba Gump’s...

With Planet Hollywood and the Miracle Mile Shops across the street, we ate at places like Oyster Bay Seafood...

The Grand Château is a high-rise resort. Although we were only on the 8th floor, we had a nice view of one of the pools. The other pool was on the roof, which gave us a great view of the Strip.

We left Orlando at a reasonable hour in the morning and flew to Dallas. From there, we boarded the same plane and flew to Vegas. As we started descending, we could see the Grand Canyon, Lake Meade, and eventually the Strip. The Marriott Grand Château  is located a block off the Strip and across the street from Planet Hollywood and the Magnificent Miles Shops. It is a very convenient location, but we made it even more convenient by booking shows and dinners at Planet Hollywood and Paris. Our 1BR suite had a nice view of the 5th floor pool and the South Strip

At The Resort, Planet Hollywood, Paris

We were lucky to be on the right side of the plane to see the Grand Canyon (above) and Lake Meade (right and left). It also meant we could see practically the whole strip when we came in for our landing.
