This cruise was another birthday cruise, only this time for Madeline. We had Marriott Vacation Club points that we needed to do something with and we found this cruise heading out of Tampa over her birthday. It seemed perfect. The ports weren’t all that interesting to us, but the ship had a nice Solarium that we thought would be perfect to help shade Madeline, since she was supposed to stay out of the sun as much as feasible. We ended up getting off in the two ports, but just to stretch our legs. We did have some wonderful meals, though, and the crew was great in helping Madeline find foods that accommodated her allergies.

We got on the ship well before noon, so we explored things like we always do. The Solarium looked like a perfect spot for us to hang out. The main dining room was very nice and the big atrium was fun as well. It was obvious that Captain Madeline was not going to steer us wrong on this cruise.

We checked into our cabin and then went to the spa where we joined a raffle. Madeline won, but we had already booked a couples salt scrub and massage, so she used her credit for a pedicure later in the week. We had our first meal and then had our massages later in the evening.

It was a sea day, so we basically ate, took a nice photo, and watched a show. Aside from that, we walked around the ship and spent some time in the Solarium.

We got off the ship in Cozumel to get Wi-Fi at Margaritaville. Of course, we had drinks and ate a Jell-O shot watermelon, too.

Back on the ship for lunch, Madeline had real watermelon. We got back off and took a photo, then reboarded and took another photo before another good dinner.

In Grand Cayman, we took the tender to a strange pier on the island, due to rough seas. We then had to ride a van into town, where we had lunch and got Wi-Fi. We took the van back to the pier and caught a tender back to the ship.

On the ship, we had drinks in the Solarium, then took another photo and had another dinner before watching a show. Their shows were not Disney quality, but they were cute.

It was Madeline’s birthday, and we started the day with another great breakfast. It was finally a nice day, so they held the belly-flop contest by the pool. After hanging out around the ship all day, we got dressed and went to Giovanni’s Table for dinner. They actually had a calamari that Madeline could eat, and her seafood medley was good, too. Every day they brought her a dessert she could eat, so she was happy.

Our trip was over when we pulled back into Tampa.
