The ship went to Nassau and Castaway Cay. We have been to both multiple times, but it was the first time that Myles ever stepped foot in another country, so Madeline got off with him and Alicia. In Castaway Cay, we all got off to enjoy a little beach time with the boy, and some alcohol tasting as well. We didn’t spend a whole lot of time in either place, but it was nice nonetheless.

Cruise 26—The Ports

Alicia wanted to let Myles experience his first country outside of the US, but Myles wanted to stay on the ship and play. The two of them took Madeline and walked around the little center right at the pier. They were not out there very long.

We all got off on Disney’s private island. We spent a little time on the beach in the morning, where Myles had fun in the sand and shallow sea. He eventually wanted to go back to the ship for fun, though.

 

After lunch on the island, Madeline and Dana joined me in a rum tasting at Pelican Point, where we had great views of the beach area and ship before sipping rum.
