Again the winter was brutal, so even though Madeline and I had just come from Costa Rica, we decided to go to our Florida home for a week. Part of the reason was to stay out of the cold, but the other part was to show my company that I could work from anywhere. It was a wonderful week, and I accomplished a lot from a work standpoint. Still, we found time to have a little fun and we especially enjoyed just seeing and visiting our girls. It truly got us (or at least me) thinking about moving to Davenport permanently.

3/18/15-3/25/15—Out of the Cold

Henry and Jane came back to see me

Epcot had the Flower and Garden Festival going, so we went there on Saturday for a little while to ride our two favorite rides and then just walk around the world and check out the flowers and topiaries.

There were also butterflies

The Grand Floridian had an Easter egg display, but they were really cakes

On Sunday, Dana used her special magic powers to get us up to the Cinderella Castle Suite. Not a whole lot of people have been up there, so it was definitely a unique experience.

Those magic powers were again used to get us quick access to Anna and Elsa. Anna was cute and funny having her own conversation with Madeline about chocolate.

 

Later, we went on Haunted Mansion and I tried out some of my camera’s trick settings.

We had to try out Cooper’s Hawk, to see if it was as good as home

Dana also took us on her Keys to the Kingdom tour, which was both educational and fun. While in the area, we stopped by to see Steve Harris’s new house. Although we didn’t get to see him much, Melvin was around and took us to the airport.
