We still had points remaining on our Vistana Vacation Club points, but not enough to go anywhere too exciting. I was finally able to book points into the Vistana Beach Club resort in Jensen Beach. It was convenient, because we didn’t have to fly anywhere. This was a bit of a different vacation for us, because I really didn’t plan a single thing ahead of time. I did look up some restaurants on Open Table and I found a horseback riding tour up the beach from us, but otherwise we just kind of winged it. |
Jensen Beach: 09/30/2022—10/03/2022 |
On Friday, we took off and traveled towards Jensen Beach, eating lunch at one of the Interstate Rest Areas. Our villa was immediately available, so we walked Jensen Beach a little and then got to our room, which had a beautiful view of the Atlantic. We found a nice place to eat for dinner down the beach a little, and then we found a place that had vegan milkshakes. Madeline thoroughly enjoyed that. We then said goodnight to Jensen Beach. |
The next day, we drove to the Port St. Lucie Boardwalk and had a morning stroll. We then went over to their Botanical Gardens and strolled through it for a while.
In the afternoon, we went to Blind Creek Beach and enjoyed listening to the ocean for a couple of hours. That night, we found another interesting place on Open Tables, the Talk House. We had a nice meal outside. |
On Sunday, we booked ourselves a horseback riding excursion along the beach at Frederick Douglass. That night, we had dinner at TideHouse, which had a wonderful view along the marina. |
Madeline walked the beach the next morning while I enjoyed the view from above. We then packed our things and found another vegan shop before we made our way back home. It was a relaxing long weekend. |
