I had heard many nice things about the Marriott Crystal Shores, which is part of Marriott Vacation Club. I honestly didn’t know much about Marco Island, though, except that our friends from CHS had a house there. It turns out that both the island and the MVC resort were quite lovely.

Our Home for the Week

We particularly liked the shower in the Master Bath. It had 4 heads and a great bench to use.

It was a little too cool and rainy at the beginning of the week to enjoy the pool, but we did enjoy the bar. They had a pool table, foosball, and some other games on the premises to play. They also had a wine & cheese night and a chocolate-tasting night, so those were fun.

A little birthday celebration at a good Japanese Hibachi restaurant and then again in the suite.

The day the girls and boys were leaving was the day it finally turned beautiful. We had a really nice view from our top floor balcony.

On one of our drive back to the resort, we ran across an alligator by the side of the road. It was a mama with a half dozen or so babies. Madeline decided to get a good look at them.
