We went to Washington, DC for the March for Life with St. Ed's. Madeline and I had already volunteered to chaperone for Dana’s class, and then we acquired Ana Paula, so we quickly worked with the school to allow her to attend as well. It had been probably 20 years since Madeline and I had been there, and this wasn’t the best opportunity to see the city, but it was still nice (and very cold).

At the Catholic University of America, we went to a Solemn Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

The procession lasted 30 minutes, with at least a half dozen cardinals, a dozen bishops, and a hundred priests, not to mention deacons and others.
